We've gotten all of the kids special keepsake birthday presents when they were little bitties. Because what 1 year old cares what he/she gets for his/her birthday? Husband and I got them each something they can appreciate later. Something that will maybe be special to them one day when they're older.

We got Clark some cufflinks. With his initials engraved on them. Now he just needs some cuffs.
