We were récently selected as a potential adoptive family for a little girl and our family was going to be one of the few that her case managers considered at the final matching meeting. But then Husband and I were given some information about her that made us decide to back out.
It seems like we often get really close to getting matched. But no dice. I'm trying not to get discouraged. :(
