Elise had her 15 month old doctor's checkup recently. She was 30.5 inches tall (45th percentile) and 20.5 lbs (15th percentile). Healthy as could be.
I asked the doctor if it was a problem that there is such a difference in the percentiles for her height and weight. He said no. She's continuing to grow and gain height and weight steadily. He said that the plotted curve for her weight since she was born shows a normal growth pattern. In fact, she has a higher weight percentile than she did at her one year checkup. She had a big growth spurt in height in the last 3 months. But she's just naturally skinny, I guess.
No shots at the 15 month checkup. Happy baby!
Awesome! Andy had to go in for a weight check today for 14 months. He is 31 inches tall-he had a growth spurt of 1.5 inches in 2 months! (60th percentile) and 19.3 lbs (2nd percentile). He is getting back to the 3rd percentile curve that he was on before 8 months.
