Elise sang for the first time tonight!
Elise loves nursery rhymes-- especially anything with animals in the song. Tonight at dinner we sang "Baa Baa Black Sheep" and Elise started singing the song over again by herself when we were through. I mean, she can't really say the words, and she only mostly got the tune-- but she did a pretty impressive job for 14 month old.
She sang, "Baa baa" just like it's supposed to start. Then more baas and that evolved into crazy-sounding baby babble that was clearly meant to imitate our adult words. She bobbed her head as she sang. It was awesome.
Baa baa baa baa baa baa buggah buggah bwah bwah duh duh bugnahdaggadaggamuhmuh...
